Destini To Supply Non-Proprietary Aircraft Parts To RMAF

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) — Destini Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) for the supply of non-proprietary aircraft parts for the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

Destini said the contract would allow Destini Prima, together with 29 other local companies identified by Mindef, to participate in parcels of bidding should RMAF require any non-proprietary aircraft parts.

“The contract has a combined ceiling of approximately RM121 million and will commence on July 1, 2020 and end on June 30, 2023,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

It said Destini’s management is of the view that this contract will reinforce Destini Prima’s status as the main contractor to Mindef, where it has been providing its services to the various branches of the RMAF.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to Destini’s consolidated earnings for the next three years, should Destini Prima be awarded any of the contract parcels, it added.
