Destini Awarded RM138 Million Contract By Defence Ministry

PETALING JAYA: Destini Bhd’s unit Destini Prima Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM138 million contract by the Ministry of Defence to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services and supply of safety and survival equipment to the
Royal Malaysian Air Force.

The contract is in addition to the RM98 million deal on MRO services and supply of safety and survival equipment to the RMAF for three years from Oct 3, 2016.

Destini Prima is required to obtain a bank guarantee amounting to RM3.45 million and participate in the Skim Latihan 1Malaysia and provide employment to at least 57 people.

On Bursa Malaysia today, Destini closed unchanged at 44.5 sen on volume of 1.3 million shares.
