Destini Secures 18-Month Contract Extension From Mindef For Aircraft Parts Supply

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 18): Destini Bhd (KL:DESTINI) has secured an 18-month extension from Malaysia’s Ministry of Defence (Mindef) for the supply of non-proprietary aircraft spare parts to the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

In a bourse filing on Thursday, the defence and aviation service provider said its whollyowned subsidiary Destini Prima Sdn Bhd (DPSB) had accepted the letter of award.

The contract, which previously expired on June 30, 2025, has been extended from July 1, 2025, until Dec 31, 2026.

The value of the contract remains unchanged at RM403.75 million, a combined ceiling shared with 29 other contractors.

Under the terms, DPSB is required to provide a performance bond when receiving government orders — amounting to 2.5% for orders exceeding RM200,000 and 5% for orders above RM500,000.

Shares in Destini ended half a sen or 1.1% lower at 43.5 sen on Thursday, valuing the company at RM238.8 million.
